Hi,
I am planning to install solid wooden floor on concrete (10 years old). My question is whether it would be advisable to put an underlay (and glue T&G ) or can I just glue the wood to the floor?. Reg the concrete floor am not sure what type it is (solid or pipes of concrete) as I can see there are ventilation bricks at floor level.

Can anyone help pl.?
thanks

If planning to use the floating mehtod, yes you do need underlayment and DPM. (Combi products now available which has the DPM included, very handy).
