wooden french door frame

Hi
I have found there is a crack on the wooden french door frame. It is on the top side of the sliding door frame and passes through one of the screws. photo attached. Is there any quick fix to this? Many thanks for any advice.

Looks like the screw did all the damage , remove and see if you can close the gap.
