I have a small gable end above the upstairs bay window in my terraced house. The panelling and fascia needs replacing and I would like it returned to an original design as well. What sort of tradesmen should I be looking for? A roofer? A joiner? I don't know who to talk to about the work.

thanks

Dan

A carpenter, joiners work in the workshop and carpenters work on site.
However there are many who cover both sections
A roofer is a general term but usually means a slater and tiler.

Seconded! Use a carpenter, you may want one (like me) who also has his own workshop so can make the woodwork up off site first.
