I have a worcester 240 combi that has stopped working.

It was working fine and then half way through a hot shower started making a lot of noise, bangs, wizzes and pops that it has never made before before coming to a halt and running cold. The pressure dropped to zero at this stage.

I have refilled the pressure but can get no hot water/ heating.

Ideas please?
 
Sounds like it overheated. Could be the pump has gone. Is there a overheat reset button on your boiler?
