Worcester 240 keeps turning off

I need some advice, over the last week or so my boiler will only run for a few minutes, then turns off then back on.

I don't think it's not the thermostat as that shows a flame on the display even when the boiler switches itself off.

The boiler temp is set to max and doesn't seem to have any effect turning it to maximum.

It's nearly 14 years old, amy need to bite the bullet and get another combi, any suggestions?

Bypass too loose or pump worn. Are all rads open? Do any get warm? Is there an external bypass too?

Does it do this during both hot water and central heating modes or only during one of them?

Only switches off when the hot water is on

if it only switches off on hot water and heating is fine, it is probably the secondary heatexchanger, could be the sensor though
