Hi, my boiler was at 0.5bar so i refilled via the filler loop, it stopped at 1.0bar perfectly, turned filler loop off then bled radiators. It has now risen to 3.5bar.

Any suggestions on how to release some of this pressure?????

i think i just found the problem, left the filler loop open and it thats why the pressure rose.

Am i right in presuming that i need to belled a radiator now to get the pressure down to 1.0bar

Either from a radiator (slower) or the boiler drain point (quicker).

tell me this should i have open the following:

Central Heating Flow = Open

Central Heatinfg Return = Currenttly closed = should it be open as the plumber changed the diaphram and never come back???

Mains Cold Water In = Open

Domestic Hot water Out = NO SCREW(ADJUSTER)

Overflow goes outside - NO SCREW

GAS COCK + DO NOT TOUCH AS I KNOW IT WORKS AS WE HAVE HOT WATER.

I think the the return is closed as the pump goes, then trips the swith as the return is closed to return the water flow, should it be open?????
