Hi all,

I am planning on installing a wireless thermostat and 7 day programmer onto my Worcester 24i. Whilst looking in the wiringing diagram it shows room thermostat connection and a programmer connection not a single connection that does both! Do I need to connect it to the the room thermostat connection or do I need to get 2 separate controls? One a thermostat and the other a programmer?

Having just gone and had a look at the oiled oiler it's got a manual control attached to the mains programmer and a frost thermostat to the thermostat connection (as my boiler is in a external service room) should I disconnect both and then simply attach the wireless receiver to the rooms thermostat and then just put a link in on the mains programmer

Please help

Adam :D

You can use a programmable stat and wire it as in the programmer option as follows:

Receiver -- Boiler
L ------------ Ls
N ------------ Ns
3 ------------ Lr
2 -- Link to Receiver L

it's got a manual control attached to the mains programmer and a frost thermostat to the thermostat connection
What does the manual control do? Can you post a pic of it?

The frost stat should override the programmer and wall stat and turn the boiler on when the temperature drops below the stat setting.
