boilers about 12 years old and no problem to now. now the red light above heating display flashes and lose heat and water. I tried holding in red button for 5 secs, worked, then tried switching off power, but it works for while and then happens again. if I switch off and leave for hour or so works again for hour or so. anything I can do or do I need to call someone in, is it better to bite bullet and say 12 yrs pretty good and get a new boiler if so are the new ones much cheaper to run, and how much approx. to have one fitted.
