Hi There
I have a Worcester 280 and I drained my system down last week to remove a couple of rads while I was decorating. I refilled the system and all was fine until yesterday when the heating stopped working (hot water still works). The pressure in the system appears to be fine. The boiler does start up and fire for a few mins before cutting out. After this, all I can here is a watery/air type sound coming from it. Occasionally it fires up again for a minute or two.
I've tried draining the system and refilling but it didnt make any difference. The last time it played up all I needed to do was hit the reset button but it hasnt tripped this time around.
Does anyone have any ideas? Does this sound like it could be air in the pump or a knackered pump?
Any help appreciated.
Cheers
