no water in radiators
this is my sisters boiler, my nephew had turned off the main water supply last week due to a leaking toilet cistern, all was well. my sister phoned to say that the boiler
was banging loudly so off i went.
there was (and still is) water in one radiator only, i drained the system, it will not fill back up, pump is o.k and port valve appears to be ok, boiler will fire up but obviously it cannot be allowed to do so as there is no water in the system. when i drained it, very little water (no sludge) came out. i have shut the boiler down.
