Dear all,
Our Worcester highflow 3.5 BF boiler keep cutting off every 2 to 3 weeks and we have to relight the pilot. Initially we thought that the pilot injector is dirty. Then I discovered this morning that the gas valve shut down completely in particularly when the DHW in demand for a while. I lit it up again and it fired o.k, then when I touched the limit thermostat lead that is connected to the back the gas valve (trying to keep it inside the boiler case), the gas valve cut off again immediately. Is it a loss connection of the limit thermostat? Can the limit thermostat behave temperamental? OR either they work of not like the thermocouple. What else can cause the complete shut down of the gas valve?
Many thanks.
