Worcester model number 19/21CBi. This boiler is giving a continual noise as if it was heating the water, but the boiler programmer is not calling for operation on either the hot water or the central heating, and the flame is not lit. I haven't noticed this before. The gas meter doesn't appear to be clocking gas consumption during this period, but the flame is intermittently ignited when the programmer is not calling for heat.
Could this be due to the cold weather and frost prevention, the outside temperature is about 5 degrees.
