My mate has a 28i which constantly goes over pressure even with the mains isolated and system drained ,how can that be His words not mine

does he live in a Gravity well then?
lol He asssures me hes turned off the main water feed and run taps dry and with "nothing switched on " hes got pressure gauge @1 bar the pressure gauge slowly go`s over three bar
When hes running it as normal the pressure gauge keeps rising and opening the release valve
