Worcester Bosch CDi Programmer

I'm not entirely sure what this achieves. Is it so you can have a wireless controller giving load compensation as well as having timed pre-heat? Personally I don't like the Honeywell on/off type of modulation when true flow temperature modulation is supported by the boiler.

I'm not entirely sure what this achieves.

I’m drawn to the CMT927 for a number of reasons:
Wireless
Portable
Optimised start
Optimised finish
Other features offered by similar controllers

Then fit the DT20 to control the pre heat timing.

Knowing I can fit two controllers, I have dismissed the Worcester Bosch DT10RF Optimiser as an option in favour of the above combination. The system is not being installed by a WB AI.

I’ve seriously considered the Worcester Bosch FR110, it offers most of the above, and more, except wireless and portable. Advantages would be proper load compensation and, it can also store 6 separate weekly heating programmes (I’m a shift worker). However, I believe my circumstances require portability.

I’ve started a new thread on “Fixed vs Portable Thermostat” as this one is getting rather long (and off topic).

Thank you for your concerns and time in helping me select the best controller,
