Worcester Bosch Combi boiler timer doesnt work

Worcester Bosch Combi boiler timer doesnt work.

Problem is that when I set it to timer function by flicking the switch from off to timer and set the time it doesn't work, unit works OK if I manually set the switch to on position.
Can anyone help?

What do you mean? Its a button with 3 positions, first is off, second is timer or schedule & third is "on" . on means manual on until I switch it off. Timer/ schedule means it will follow the timer schedule and will come on and go of based on the timer / schedule wheel, it used to work before doesn't come on now, only comes on when I use the manual on switch.

Can anyone help me point towards the solution or at least troubleshoot

The timer is goosed, get a new one.

I'm having the same issue and I have replaced the timer with a new original. Before anyone asks yes the thermostat is set to call. If I switch the timer to on it works fine , off its off , but when set to timed it will not call for heat .

If you've installed in correctly - assume it's just plug in! Then you may have another faulty unit - it does happen.
Give technical a call - it's their product after all!
