3 years on now and the old Vokera Linea 24 is still hanging in there (touch wood).
I reckon this has to be the Worlds crapiest boiler, if it were a horse, I would shoot it!
Anyways, it's working for now but a mate of mine has a problem with his Worcester boiler which I find perplexing: I am a bit vague with the details as he is not too good with explaining things but I will give it a go.
He says, he has hot water upstairs (Boiler is downstairs in kitchen) but hot water will only run at the sink if he lets the CH first heat up or he, "squeezes the back of the switch/operates the switch manually" ????? I am at a loss as to what he means, I think he must be meaning something to do with the ch/dhw diverter valve. He doesn't have mixer taps on the sink so I have ruled that idea out. Sorry I can't give model etc but having not looked at it yet I am just testing the water to see if it's a stupidly obvious answer. Water pressure in the ch system is good and water pressure at all hot taps is consistent.
If not, I will press him for more details tomorrow.
