Boiler 4 years old. OK until loft conversion with 2 new rads & shower fitted 9 months ago. New rads only warm at bottom so system was flushed. Shortly after had problem with burners igniting. Pilot on, clicking in attempt to light but would only occasionally catch. Plumber cleaned parts and worked fine for 8 months. Turned heating on for 1st time this week and same problem occurred. Probe has been replaced, but not fixed prob. Plumber now wants to replace PRV (?) but I still suspect may be dirt in system and this may not be necessary? This is now 4th callout on same problem (2 diff plumbers) but no-one seems sure of what to do.

Maybe WB would be a viable option!

Lots of problems on this boiler are caused by an empty / damaged expansion vessel.
