Worcester greenstar 24i - hot water goes cold

Hello, when I fully open the hot tap it gets warm then cold and stays cold - (both bath and kitchen sink) but when I slow the flow down it gets hot again, basically taking ages to fill a bath.
What could possibly cause this or is there anything I could check?
