Hi,

A family member has a Worcester Greenstar Ri boiler with simple on / off controls and no room thermostat.

I have a Honeywell CM927 with a combi boiler and advised she should get this. Is the CM927 compatible? Take it she would need to keep the current controls and leave the CH on all the time for the CM927 to turn on and off.

The HW could be controlled by the current controls?

Would this be the way to go or are there any better suggestions? For example 1 box that would operate as a room thermostat and a HW controls?

Thanks in advance.

Looks good, how can I tell if it is compatible with the Greenstar Ri?

Thanks for the advice.

Most ( ALL ) heat only boilers have two terminals that you join together to make the boiler work.

But I really do think that a heating professional should be advising what is best for someone!
