Worcester Heatslave 9.24 combi boiler - changing mech timer

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to take out a Horstmann Tiara 425 mechanical timer and replace with a digital 7 day timer, and if so, which timer would be best to fit into recess on boiler. I think I would need a 2 channel timer ?

This mechanical timer works very well, but I want to change it to have more control over the system. e.g. weekend timings
