Hi, we have a Worcester heatslave highflow floor standing combi boiler, and for the last 2 year, it has been quite poor heating the upstair radiators. A recent engeneer opinon was that it needed increasing the pressure on it possibly up to 2 bar, plus all radiators need bleeding.

Could someone tell me which is the max recommended pressure for this boiler? we leave in a 3 split-leveled house, hence quite a big distance up for the radiators. Would also like to know HOW to do it, or if this is a DIY Not job.

Thanks

do your ground floor rads get hot very quick ? if so it might just need balancing.pressure your boiler cold to one bar check and bleed upstairs rads if needed then repressure to 1 bar

1 bar may not be enough if the house is on 3 levels, 1 bar at gound level will be much less on the top floor.

If the rads are full of air you need to blead them until water comes out and, as you do this, keep topping up your system so all the rads can be blead.

As the last post said could be needing balancing, dont think you can adjust the speed of pump on this model but make sure its up to 3.
