worcestor 24i hot water fault

when using domestic hot water (bath or shower) hot will run for as long as it pleases then go cold.
sometimes it will come back hot if left running sometimes need to turn off, wait a few mins then try again.
please please please can anyone help

Does the boiler make a kettle noise? Are there any clunks or bangs just before ity cuts off?

Have you checked the temperature sensor?

yes hot water turned up to full to test and still the same.
does make an erratic clicking/switching sound though.

No, the temperature sensor.


You'll need a multimeter and check the resistences, however, you said it was clicking. When was it serviced last?

It could be blocked flue tubes/venturi's

Perhaps that is the cause - I would humbly suggest you get someone in to give it the once over.

I concurr Dan, or, Flow sensor or DHW sensor.

Question is, is the LED flashing around four times per second?.
