Hi
Am an inexperienced but qualified electrician. I did a rewire on my sisters house. She told me to remove the thermostat so I did. Now the timer doesn't work. I called in our gas man he rewired it but the timer still doesn't work but is at least functional. I want to know the following
How to gain access to the junction box where the flat flex come from?
Am I correct in saying the timer and thermostat just forms a series circuit with the boiler. When both the timer and thermostat are on, it gives 230 vto boiler.
On the diagram I show two terminal marked live so am assuming one is the switched live and this need to form series circuit with boiler yes? The thermostat is a mains type. Rs1 fittednby British gas. The timer is ut2. [/b]
