Hi my daughter has a 15mm flexi pipe running to a shed with the washing machine in. It's right next to the house.

They used some wrap around insulation but it still froze and burst.

I wondered if I can somehow use a section of hospice and if it may be less likely to burst if frozen?

Even if it did burst it could be easily replaced.

What about the washing machine freezing in the shed? That will kill it. I used to run a hose up the side of our house that I left all year. Was fine for years. I think moving hose when frozen can cause cracks

Insulation slows the flow of warmth to a cold place but if the warm place doesn't generate its own heat, it will go cold regardless.

Run a plastic pipe out to the shed and bury it
