would this crack put you off buying a property?

Explain more if you can, theres been no change in the last decade
 
I don’t like cracks in houses. Makes me think they’re falling down.
 
My advice would be that if you genuinely were interested in buying this house to hire a "structural engineer" to pop out for 30 minutes - 60 minutes and he'll charge you about £150 - £250 and he'll give you an informal opinion.

If I bought a house with a bloody great crack in it and I’d paid a structural engineer look at it, I’d want more than an ‘informal opinion'!

Yeah but an official response would cost £1,000 and I'm talking about "before you buy it"
