Is this all to do with the judge in Teeside who said to a burglar 'it takes courage to burgle, i coudn't do it'?
Very sadly, 'people' don't seem to care anymore.

I think you are referring to that idiot judge who is so far from reality and stating burgulary needed a a huge amount of courage.........FFS .....these rsoles are the **** of the earth and he is making them out to be some sort of SAS guy......this plank needs removing from his post ........burgulars need a huge amount of broken bones and nothing else.........as Jim Royal would say " courage my arse"

Judges cannot stray from sentencing guidelines, they can;t set someone free if the guidelines don't allow it.
We need to do more than sack a judge then carry on as before, plenty of criminals walk free with non custodial sentences, this judge just said something stupid that made it headlines.
I've been banging on for years about this type of b*llocks.

A judge should judge a case that has effected them.
Example:
A judge can judge a man for burglary if he or someone very close to him was burgled within the last 12 months.
There would be NO soft judges.
