Wrong sand put down

To cut a long story short, soft sand has been put down instead of sharp sand for a base for artificial grass. How much difference will it make & without removing it can something be done to sort it out. 16m2 is the base.

With time and rain the soft sand may be more liable to 'give' and therefore create dips and voids.

I left it overnight & then walked over it. Realised it would be a problem & took it all off. Replaced it with sharp sand. Lesson learnt.
