Indeed not, but we should learn from the past and use it as a guide so we don't make the same mistakes.
Very well said,the greatest tribute to all of the fallen would be to never let it happen again.

Apparently commeration and poppy day was not a big thing in the 40s and 50s.Everyone wished to move on and be happy.Then the first cenotaph was constructed of wood and ply..Now,like christmas, people wish to turn it into a "season" of 3 month,somehow diminishes it i think.
