Wylex fuse box problem

Hi,

A few days ago one of my lights fuse switches starting turning itself off. If I turn it on it works for a while, and the lights that are connected to it work too, but then it will switch itself off again. It can last from a few seconds to an hour or so but there seems to be no pattern to it and it can turn itself off, with a small bang, even if the lights are not on.

Could anybody please advise me on whether i need to change something or call an electrician?

If you have changed anything on that light circuit recently such as a new fitting etc then there's a fault.

Could be an MCB fail or something with the cabling.

Call a spark and get the lighting circuit tested and go from there.

You need an IR test, this will determind if there's a fault bewteen conductors so you'll need to cal a sparky
