It's the wretched English language at work again. 'Flexible'='versatile' (not 'bendy') - it's what Wylex call their 'versatile' CUs and busbars (i.e.you can cut the busbars to give whatever combinatioon of RCD1, RCD2 and (if present) Main Switch circuits you want).
I purchased a new style nhxs rcbo, and yes they still have the two different connection methods, however when fitted next to an old style rcbo they do not line up.
There appears to be a problem in two dimmensions.
Maybe the same problem occours with the new style mcb's
