XPS recommendation

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are doing well during these peculiar times.

I am looking for my ground floor insulation on top of my existing concrete floor.
I am going to put DPM and lip it over skirting boards then I want to put some XPS boards and 10mm natural fibre underlay on top.
I have about 25mm before I need to cut doors.
So DPM + XPS + fibre underlay 10mm + laminate floor boards 8mm
So I can use XPS that is 5-6mm thick.

Would your recommend any good XPS brand?

Way too thick on the underlays. Too much movement. One is a carpet underlay.
You would be better floating some engineered wood or a thick carpet & underlay.

I reckon thick carpet & underlay would provide a better insulation.
Where can I find a thick carpet for application under the underlay?

I assume you think that XPS is meaningless.
