Yale Alarm "Chime" noise

Hi, I have the 6400, which also has the chime option, I turned it off after a while, as if leaving the house especially late at night not only possibly annoying sleeping neighbours but your advertising your going out, as for the volume, I'm not aware of any way you could increase it, actually we found ours to loud that's why I disabled it.
