Yale Alarm HSA3800

Hi,

i have the above mentioned alarm which has been fine for quite a few years.

the problem i am currently having is that when i try ringing it (remote controlling) or when i try listening to messages it has a annoying tone in the background and nothing can be heard

any one else ever have simular issues ?

Hi yes I answered via the message system but the poster is still asking for info so my message response was not adequate.

I suggested the noise could be an earth fault or a problem with the phone line itself , other than that the panel could be failing.

One you will be believed more anf secondly the answer may assist others and prevent duplicate posts.

There was only a message at the time in my inbox and no thread had been started to answer on. I presume the thread was started because my answer wasn't deemed suitable.

Like many given here.

If you had the pleasure of some security trade sites you would see the same question spread across the tinternet, with almost duplicate answers that some choose to feel are incorrect.

Hence the sometime short answers. You will agree I hope, we do this for nothing and when 3, 4, 5 or 6 persons give the same answer, and you again see OP argue..............it is a little disparaging.
