New to the forum and desperate for help, got the wireless alarm and its worked fine for 3 months, I've got 3 PIRs and 2 contact sensors. Woke up this morning and disarmed it as usual, and set the alarm when we went out to work. When the mrs got home and opened the front door, the beeps didn't start so she assumed I never set it. A little while later one of the PIRs picked her up and the alarm went off. I got home and cleared the alarm from the panel and decided to do a walk test, but when I pressed the learn button on any of the sensors it didn't pick them up on the control panel. Tried removing the sensors with the intention of re-adding them thinking this would fix the issue but when it says press button on device to be added, I press the button and the control panel doesn't detect any of them. Tried a complete reset and still won't detect any sensors. Any idea? Thanks.

how old are the batteries?

(the ones supplied in the box will have been put in at date of manufacture)

lift the panel off the wall and put it on the table with the devices. Do they learn in now? Maybe the panel is in an unsuitable position.

I bought it 3 months ago and haven't changed the batteries but they shouldn't have been live until you pull the tabs out when installing. And one of the contact sensors is around 4ft away from the unit and I also took a PIR of the wall and held it right next to the panel and still not picking it up. The PIRs still see movement though so I'm thinking its the panel.

You don't want to take the panel off the wall then?

Assuming the red leds light up when you press the learn button and you have it in learn devices=press button on device to add and you get no acknowledgement has something changed in your home environment?

Have you changed your wireless router or is your router within 1m of your panel?

Try moving the panel to a different location and try learning in the devices again.

If it then works then you have a radio issue where your panel currently sits,

I've already taken it off the wall, to switch the battery pack off to reset it, I might try turning all electrics off in the house to see if it works then, just seems strange it's worked fine for three months

Take it off the wall and put it on the table next to your sensor. Does it now learn? This really is an important test.

Try new batteries (alkaline but not duracell) in at keast one sensor on the table.

When you reset it as described when you powered up did you get the set up routine starting from scratch.

if you did and when you came to learning in devices the panel would not respond to them then it does indeed look as if you have a fault with the panel.
