Hi all.

I've just fitted a Yale wireless alarm system.
All is ok but one of my PIR is in the corner of a room opposite and pointing at a window.
Its says to avoid this situation.

What effect and why ?

Does it detect movement outside the house I wonder by cat/dogs/humans ?

Should I move it ?

Cheers

No, leave it where you've sited.......With some wired systems, they can detect movement through window but the Yale is low power....

Never had an issue assuming you are talking wireless....

............. just don't worry about the sun causing false activations, and it will.

Read the leaflet / look at the diagrams that came with the detector.

Yale said to avoid, so avoid.

E999 is wrong.
