Ye Gods!

You'd need an F/F gender-bender - I'm trying to think of a legitimate need for such a thing that would lead to them existing...

Or did you mean replace the C14's in the thing with C13s?

I meant replace the inlets being used as outlet with proper outlets (I would have to look it up to know which code is the inlet and which code is the outlet).

I dunno about female female adaptors but you can certainly buy blocks with one male and two female of that style. You can also get strips of female connectors that are designed to have a cable wired in for the incoming power.

anyone remember the bulgin P551 connectors? nowadays you can get proper inlet and outlet versions but it used to be the cable connector always had pins and the panel connector always had holes even when used as an inlet! The pins are somewhat shrouded but certainly not touchproof.

Since we're talking about unusual mains plugs, I don't suppose anyone knows where I could get some Neutrik/Cannon LNE-XLR plugs for a PDU with outlets like these, do they?

I think I've got one in the garage somewhere. How many are you after?

Sadly they only have these left:

That'll learn me - caveat emptor and all that.... :(

I could replace the outlets with the Neutrik PowerCon ones - same size panel holes, even the fixing holes are compatible, but by the time I've done that I might as well buy an IEC-320 PDU on fleabay...

i've heard of people lighting fires under cables. When they eventually short and take a breaker out, it's safe to hack them out.
