outlet has been blocked by fibres from a mat. i am sure problem is at drum outlet. drain pump unable to clear blockage. can this be got at from below?

Probably, un plug m/c remove inelet and pump pipes, tip m/c onto its back / side but be carefull they are heavy
Thanks Breezer, We did as you suggested. outlet pipe completely blocked and kept on blocking. There is a ball in this pipe ( to stop coins?) We removed that temporarily, still kept blocking . Finished up with washer outside in garden, opened the pump trap and flushed inside drum with hose pipe. Outlet pipe still kept blocking. Took nearly all day before we got it cleared. Message is clear, washers are for clothe not mats.
