Zanussi Aquacycle 1221w

Hi,

I have a problem with my Zanussi aquacycle 1221. It will go through a wash cycle ok but does not spin dry at the end. Can hear the machine trying to spin but doesn't do anything. I have drained it, and cleaned out/checked the impeller of the motor and all ok (spins freely).
After being drained it will then spin ok, but as soon as water is put back in it fails again?

Any suggestions.

Check the motor brushes & replace if worn.
