I'm a bit stumped getting this dryer to dry properly. Here a few details of the story so far

- It runs the main motor and turns the drum
- I can feel airflow through the dryer
- The heater warms up
- I've tested the pump by powering it directly and it runs fine and does pump water
- very little water appears in the water tray at the top when drying clothes
- I've cleaned out the water gathering trough at the back
- I've used a green plastic scourer to clean the moisture sensor
- The I've replaced the float switch that's beside the pump as the original appeared faulty
- Its quite damp around the condenser heat exchanger
- It will run for 90 mins drying a wet towel as a test and the towel remains wet.
- The pump ran at the end of this test with a towel and some water appeared in the water tray.

This thing is not that complicated - what am i missing??? Any ideas most welcome

Thanks

Ken

It seems to be a common problem

Try a google search for --
Zanussi lindo 300 tumble dryer not drying

you haven't mentioned doing this:

Inspect the moisture sensor for dirt or damage, as it can falsely signal dryness
