Zanussi FJ 1295 Washing Machine stops at the slow spin phase

When the washing machine is in operation with the Super Economy button pressed, it grinds to a halt at the Slow Spin stage.
As a result, I move the programmer to another function such as Rinse and the machine continues.
Any idea as to what could be causing it?

There's nothing connected to the PCB on the bottom left (B1, B2, B3) Wondered if there ought to be!
