Zanussi FL-1081 Washing Machine ineffective slow speed spin

Hi. Can anyone help, Zanussi FL-1081 Washing Machine ineffective slow speed spin. The high speed spin program F works fine.

Firstly have you checked the filter?

Hi, thanks for the quick response.

The filter is clear.

The machine does not appear to slow spin the tub at sufficient speed or duration of time to get rid of the water.

Any thoughts????

Is the pressure switch tube ok or has it collapsed flat. It goes from the pressure sw. on top of the drum to the pump at the bottom of the machine.

Hi jj4091 thank you for your thoughts.

I have not checked the pressure hose yet, however the fast spin is ok.

I seem to have a slow spin problem that is either not fast enough or of long enough duration to centrafuge the water from the washing. You can hear the pump getting rid of the water that has been spun out, but the washing is still wet when the cycle has completed.

We are currently using the fast spin program f to get rid of the water that is left in the washing after the slow speed spin completes.

Any thoughts????
