I have owned a Zanussi FL-1081 for 12 years and has given excelent service up until christmas last year when it started to "stick mid program and I then had to move the dial by hand to finish the cycle.
The timer gets stuck on some but not all programes,
I have replaced the timer and door switch (£110), cleaned and checked the pressure vessel and it worked fine up until now. I stripped and cleaned the pressure vessel again yesterday, checked all parts but it still fails to operate properly.
I am reluctant to buy a new machine as everything on the fl-1081 seems in great order apart from this problem. I have also checked the two diaphragm switches at the top and they suck/blow without leakage.
I am wondering if it is another faulty door switch. or has anyone got any advise?

Please help!!

or do I cut my losses and buy a new one after 12yrs? -whats the new equivalent?

I would love to get another year out of it,

Cheers

Sean
