I have a Zanussi built in oven. The fan at the back has just started to clatter and rattle as soon as the oven is turned on. The grill is fine. I think this means it is the convection fan that is faulty?
If so, what is my plan of action?
If not, what else should I be looking at?
Thanks!

I used to have a Zanussi. The back panel of the oven could be removed, after taking out the side and top linings, by undoing a few small screws. Turn off the power first, of course.

There is a faint chance yours is rattling because the fan is unbalanced by a load of fat deposits, if not, the motor bearings are probably worn out.

Unless the oven is quite new, consider the cost of a replacement and decide how much you are willing to spend on a repair. I don't know if the motor is also replaceable from the front, I only remember seeing the fan.
