Zanussi Tumble Dryer error codes - help please

Hi, I have a Zanussi Tumble Dryer ZDCB 47209W - PNC : 916097249(00)

The main problem was that it was getting difficult to start and eventually wouldn’t start at all. I changed the capacitor and this seemed to cure it, but on the first startup, it seemed to stutter a bit and then got going but after about 20 minutes it stopped with 3 beeps and a flashing red light. It now does the same but only after a few minutes. I entered diagnostic mode as advised on utube/internet and I get 5 flashing Red Lights and 1 Green light.
Can anyone tell me what this combination of lights means please?

Hi,

If I read this post correctly, it sounds like you have an E51 error.

Hi and thnx. I’ve searched both these links and plenty of other ones but can’t seem to find a definite answer regarding flashing 5 Reds and 1 Green……

Red flashes are the first digit in the error code, green the second. i.e. 5 reds, 2 green, then pause = E52.

So as above, I think you have an E51 error!
