First time poster -so please be gentle

I've a problem with the above washing machine, I was wondering if anyone has ideas on how to fix it.
When I or the Mrs put on a wash, the machine stops, usually at around 1 minute to go. It has stopped on other times but usually at 1 minute. Our solution at the moment is switching it off/on at the front of the machine and this usually works.
In hope, Thanks

You aren't getting an error code in the display?
Try this: Switch the appliance off. Press & hold in the start/pause and skip/reset buttons. Switch on the machine while still keeping the buttons held in until the buzzer sounds & the LED's start flashing. The washer should now be in diagnostic mode. If your control panel has 6 option buttons with rows of LED's above them do as follows. Press the far left option button (usually fabrics) repeatedly until the 10th LED is lit (imagine the buttons as being numbered from 1 at the top far left & increasing downwards to 5 at the bottom before hopping over to the top of the next row). LED number 10 is at the bottom of the second row. Once at this position an error code should be displayed in the display....post it here.
To exit diagnostics turn the machine off - on - off.
If you happen to have a different fascia than described above post a picture of it.

Did as you said and got message E52 on LED. Can you give advice on next step. Many Thanks :D

E52 is a motor problem. As a starter check the brushes...like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tNnqIK8AomM Only difference is that your model doesn't have a removable back-plate. You have to remove the rear half of the casing. It sounds worse than it is...Remove the lid & take out two screws each side at the rear of the cross-member. Remove two plastic plugs on the sides (at the bottom, near the seam), then take out the bolts under the plugs. Remove the 2 or 3 screws at the bottom rear of the machine. Un-clip the plastic half-moon where the inlet hose/mains cable enter. The entire rear half of the casing then slides off giving you access to most components. Take off the belt & unbolt the motor, pull the motor plug & remove the motor. The rest is the same as the video link.
