hello.

could anyone explain the advantages and disadvantages of zero govenors? any safety issues which have arisen from these . also how do you test their safety. i run the boiler to max then plug out the fan. thats what valliant chap said anyhow!! thaNKS

And how do you prove you are competent to do gas work? Not by just being able to join two pieces of pipe!!!

If this man finds out how to test his zero governor then he is competent. He knows how to test it.

I would say that if he needs to ask then he probably is NOT competent!

Even if somebody told him how to do it then it would still not make him competent as there are many other aspects of working with gas.

In any case these questions should always be asked in the Combustion Chamber section where anyone posting has had their credentials checked.
