I don't think that it will come as any surprise to anyone that Hamas have very likely killed most, if not all, of the hostages.

Imagine a culture like the one on the left existed in a middle eastern country and that they could be supported in bringing their civilzied ways to more areas and people in that region... but instead you decide to support the types on the right. Wouldn't that be strange?

Nothing would surprise me. Israel knows they killed 12 in q single building.
It's interesting that the sort of deal outlined if correct is roughly what HAMAS offered some time ago.

The Israeli prime minister’s office said Wednesday that of the 129 hostages from the October 7 attack currently held, 33 are dead.

109 were released, mostly in a prisoner exchange. 3 were rescued. 3 were executed by the IDF. 9 bodies were found by the IDF.

33 are named dead, 20 more are suspected to be dead. How they died is unknown. As mentioned the IDF do not care about collateral damage, including to their own hostages and that before we start on Hamas. Who would almost certainly rather kill them than let them be rescued and aren't likely to give them food, water or medicine if they don't have enough.
