Can the more knowledgeable please confirm my system view please?
Y pan converted to S plan with unvented cylinder and sealed heating. Best money spent on the house. I now have an issue that when the HW is on the radiators heat up. I suspect the zone value is faulty. Both valves work when level pushed to the right, trigger pump and the motor winds then back into auto. However the Honeywell one at the top goes back further than the Boss Therm lower one. Suspect it this one that is passing.
Firstly can you confirm that its the Boss Therm lower valve that would be not closing properly?
Secondly can the vale head be removed to manually operate the vale to see if stuck (think I can) With power and motor movement I can exclude power issues as I really don't want to delve into the 'wiring centre' unless I need to replace the unit.
If its the valve I can replace , if its the motor I believe a siemens head unit can be fitted.
Grateful for any advice.
