Trump started on the first day by claiming two million people attended his inauguration when it was actually 300,000. And it continued every day for the next four years. Trump admits himself that he does it. It's a deliberate strategy.

extending affordable health care
pressuring pharmas to give power prices for prescription drugs
give women the freedom to make decisions about their body
grants to new homeowners to help them get on the housing ladder

But the really interesting part about the New York mayor case is the politics of it all. The New York mayor is a Democrat and has been opposing Trump's policies. What most people think has happened is that in return for dropping the charges, he will now support support Trump's agenda. And very unusually, the charges haven't actually been fully dropped. Trump has kept the right to reinstate them. Essentially to keep a threat hanging over the mayor's head. Like a mafia Don!
