Do crimpers have to be specifically made to take red/blue/yellow crimps?

Would one described as 1.5/2.5/6/10mm accept those crimps, or would it be made for uninsulated ones, and NBG for the insulated jobbies?

They're different. You can get one for insulated and one for unin..
